Amy Howarter is a dynamic marketing leader, with a focus on data driven results. She has nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience and brings a calm, mature and strategic leadership style to the Goodcents team that has resonated throughout the organization.
As vice president of Marketing for Goodcents, Howarter directs the company’s national marketing for more than 70 franchised restaurants. This includes a variety of brand marketing initiatives such as creative strategy, advertising, consumer insights, and digital marketing initiatives, as well as franchise development. She also manages the company’s menu development, including the testing and implementation process for new products and promotions.
Prior to joining Goodcents in 2014, Howarter worked as Senior Account Executive for GlynnDevins, where she was responsible for day-to-day account management and strategy for multiple client partners.
Howarter also spent 10 years with Applebee’s in various marketing roles, most recently as the Marketing Communications Manager. She was in charge of developing messaging and creative that delivered on the company’s brand promise. This included nationwide menus, POP materials, and other local store marketing materials that helped drive sales and increase guest counts.
She is also a member of the Kansas City chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
