Goodcents Gives Back on National Cookie Day with Free Cookies for a Year Campaign

December 19, 2018

In celebration of National Cookie Day, Goodcents partnered with Children’s Mercy, a leading pediatric medical center in Kansas City, for a fun campaign called ‘Do Something Sweet’ to support children and families in need. Goodcents offered an exclusive batch of Free Cookies for a Year cards on its website for $25 each, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting to Children’s Mercy.

“Children’s Mercy is an amazing organization doing wonderful work to care for children and families from all over the country right here in Kansas City,” said Mike O’Toole, Chief Growth and Support Officer for Goodcents. “As another local Kansas City brand, we are proud to help support such a great cause and spread a little sweetness to those who need it most this holiday season.”

Update: The ‘Do Something Sweet’ campaign raised $4,000 that was donated directly to the Children’s Mercy. The Goodcents team took a trip to one of the hospital locations to present the check to Erica Logan, Manager of Philanthropic Community Engagement and Events for Children’s Mercy.
